A tree that brings good luck was planted by the participants of the Days of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on one of the alleys of the Izhevsk Zoo.

The symbol of Izhevsk – a rowan - has become not only a symbol of the city of gunsmiths, but also a real mascot of the Department of Happiness and the project EURASIA KIDS. The location of the Action was not chosen by chance. Udmurt Zoological Park is one of the best zoos in Europe. The annual attendance of the Zoo is 600 thousand people.

The volunteers of the Days of Happiness joined the Action "Garden of Peace" of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly. They planted a tree in the Zoo, because, first of all, it is a place for family educational recreation. The Zoo's specialists have done everything to make it interesting for visitors. The Zoo's infrastructure is constantly developing: there is convenient parking, an accessible environment, and new facilities appear where guests can have an interesting time. By the way, more than 5,000 plants are planted annually.

The dream of the Zoo staff is to make it a tradition for the whole family to visit the Zoo on weekends. Animals behave differently during the day, and it is very interesting to watch how their behaviour changes. And now in the Izhevsk Zoo there is another particularly happy place - a tree that fulfils wishes. That's what the kids say.

The magic rowan tree was planted by the Champion of Belarus and Moscow, the winner of the Continents Cup in wheelchair dancing Irina Chebareva and the director of the Izhevsk Zoo Svetlana Malysheva.
