Udmurtia was chosen as a pilot region for a new large-scale project of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The native land of Tchaikovsky and Kalashnikov where they lived and worked was not chosen by chance.

It is here that the great Kama River, which flows into the Volga, originates. The city of Sarapul was once one of the most commercial in the Urals. The Sarapul pier on the Kama River briskly conducted trade before the revolution. Fish, shipping, industry, timber – is what the small town of Sarapul was not famous for. But most importantly, people lived here happily. The keepers of a small merchant town history, employees of the Sarapul Museum-Reserve, also spoke about this.

The feeling of peace and happiness is felt even now. The happy delegation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly arrived in Sarapul together with photographers, young world champion in wheelchair dancing Irina Chebareva, guide Bogdan Zaitsev, journalist Anton Ponomarev.

By the way, Bogdan and Anton are blind. But, despite the illness, the guys play hockey, jump with a parachute, conduct scientific activities. For example, Bogdan recently made a presentation at the I International Forum “Culture. Tourism. Education. Synergy of interaction in the professional space”. The conference took place on May 21-22, 2021 in Moscow, in the Cultural and entertainment complex “Kremlin in Izmailovo ”.

Anton is the editor of the “School Monday” newspaper for blind children.

“One of the main tasks of the Assembly is to make the life of special children interesting and happy. We realize that these children will live in a new era and the future of many people depends on what kind of baggage they come there with,” - say Olga Chirkova, Head of the EURASIA KIDS project and Marina Volkova, Head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

In the museum complex "Dacha Bashenina", the museum staff, representatives of public organizations, journalists, and photographers supported the conversation about happiness.
