As part of the celebration of the Victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, in the multimedia Historical Parks "Russia - My History", a film marathon "WON TOGETHER" is being held throughout the country. It has collected films about the feat of arms of Soviet soldiers and civilians in one of the largest and fiercest battles, which radically changed the course Great Patriotic and World War II.
During the day, residents and guests of the city of Volgograd watched the film "Battle for Stalingrad" directed by Igor Michak on the big screen on the facade of the Historical Park. The film tells about the history of the defense of Stalingrad, the feat of the generation of the Winners and the grateful memory of their descendants, which does not and cannot have a statute of limitations, measures, boundaries. The film was included in a series of video lessons dedicated to the memorable dates of the Great Patriotic War, created as part of the “Calendar of Great Victories” project dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism.
Screenings as part of the Cinema Marathon “WON TOGETHER” were organized with the assistance of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio, with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, together with the Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation as part of the “Echo” events of the “WON TOGETHER” Festival.
