Representatives of more than 80 Countries of the World Welcomed the Opening of the Monument to Vyacheslav Tikhonov

The CIS + WORLD program and the Eurasian Tourism Security Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly took part in a historic event - the opening of a monument to People's Artist of the USSR Vyacheslav Tikhonov.

The monument was opened on May 19, 2022 in the homeland of the great artist in the city of Pavlovsky Posad, Moscow Region (Russia). The ceremony was attended by the President of the Vyacheslav Tikhonov Foundation, the daughter of the artist Anna Tikhonova, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region Elena Kharlamova, the Head of the urban district Denis Semenov, the sculptor of the monument Vladimir Ivanov, the Director of the Guild of Russian Film Actors Valeria Gushchina, the leadership of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, numerous high-ranking guests and residents of Pavlovsky Posad.

The legendary event was timed to coincide with the opening of the sixth Vyacheslav Tikhonov 17 Moments International Film Festival.

The opening of the monument was good news for many people.
