The International Action "Day of Spiritual Harmony of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" is held to strengthen international cooperation and mutual understanding of the peoples of Eurasia on the basis of a humanitarian worldview and traditional human values.

Thematic conferences, round tables, exhibitions, concerts, charity events, sports competitions, campaigns of good deeds are held annually on the Day of Spiritual Harmony on October 18 - everything that unites us and makes life better. Spiritual harmony begins with care, manifests itself in an attentive attitude and respect for each other, for the world where we live.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly invites all members, partners and friends in the countries of Eurasia to join the International Action "Day of Spiritual Harmony of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly", to support the idea of ​​unity of people, mutual respect for spiritual traditions and cultural values.

The celebration of the Day of Spiritual Harmony has a 30-year history. On October 18, 1992, the first Congress of Spiritual Harmony opened in Alma-Ata. Its participants - prominent religious and public figures from Austria, Great Britain, Germany, India, Italy, Russia, the USA, Switzerland and other countries - proposed to declare the opening day of the Congress the Day of World Spiritual Harmony.

More than 300 representatives from 54 spiritual and public organizations of the world, as well as envoys from various theological schools and institutions took part in the congress. About 400 journalists from 46 countries of the world received accreditation.

The participants of the Congress appealed to establish a moratorium on October 18 on any disputes and discussions. Dedicate the day to prayers and meditations, calling for harmony, unity, co-service in mercy. Provide other forms that promote mutual understanding and spiritual fraternization of the people of the Earth.

A number of public organizations from different countries have been celebrating this date for 30 years already, holding charity events, thematic events, concerts dedicated to establishing mutual understanding and reconciliation between people of different nationalities and confessions, as well as the traditions of mercy. Since 2017, the initiative has been supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
