The film “Borzenko. Ring behind Barbed Wire”

On February 1, 2023, a special screening of the documentary film “Borzenko. Ring behind Barbed Wire, Producer – Vladimir Pirozhok, Member of the Russian Producers Guild. General Producer of the GALERIA film company. Film Directors —  Alexey Degtyarev, Elena Moshtal-Geladze.

The event was held as part of the Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Egypt.

The story of Andrei Borzenko, a Soviet boxer who went through the Buchenwald concentration camp, is a real confirmation that the fortitude of the human spirit can work wonders. Borzenko spent more than 80 fights and was never defeated, although he was in terrible conditions, almost incompatible with life.

The film "Borzenko. Ring behind Barbed Wire” is an example of the resilience and patriotism of people during the Great Patriotic War. The film screening in Egypt was an important event to prevent the depreciation and rewriting of history.

The film "Borzenko. Ring behind Barbed Wire” was awarded the Prize of the Organizing Committee of the XVII International Film Festival “Won Together” held by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly together with the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio.
