An Exhibition of the Best Works of the IV International Cartoon Contest "Eurasia" has opened in Yekaterinburg

The exhibition of the best works of the IV International Cartoon Contest "Eurasia" opened in the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy (Yekaterinburg, Russia).

The theme of the contest "Hello, neighbor!" inspired 119 artists from 33 countries.

More than 40 exhibition works convey the thoughts of authors from different parts of the world about good neighborliness, friendship, community and difference, about human relationships, about topics that concern everyone.

The contest was established by Anatoly Pavlov, a member of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Chairman of the Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the VMS, and the Yekaterinburg Museum of Caricature. The contest was supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The entries represent Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, West Bengal, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Israel, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Cyprus, China, Colombia, Myanmar, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Thailand, Ukraine, Czech Republic, France, Montenegro, United Arab Emirates, Estonia.

The award ceremony for the winners of the contest will take place on May 20, 2022 in Yekaterinburg and will be timed to coincide with the World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
