Thanks to a new format of communication, an International Online Marathon, the International Mother Language Day has become an unusual event for many people, who were united by the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The first responses have already come from viewers and participants.

Anastasia Shirokikh: “My daughter Natasha Korobeinikova is a sunny girl. In medicine, they call it Down syndrome. It is very important for us that the EURASIA KIDS platform helped my daughter find new friends. For example, Ebrima Mbenga from Gambia became a real friend for Natasha. She learned to play African drums, and her marathon performance is a vivid confirmation. Indeed, in the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly they value every person, regardless of his diagnosis or skin colour.”

Oksana Ponomareva: “The marathon made it possible to hear the languages of different nations. The children's part of the marathon turned out to be very touching. I would like to say special thanks for the musical part of the holiday. A real symphony of languages!”

Elena Stoyanova: “Thank you for the opportunity to see my daughter Oksana performing in the marathon. For us, the song that our daughter sang is very important; it is dedicated to our grandfather, the daughter's great-grandfather. He returned from the war as a real hero. We are very proud of him. It feels like an event like a marathon brings people together.”

Zhenya Kuzmina: “I saw the prospects, I saw new people whom I didn’t know. Thanks to the marathon I realized that I had chosen the right area for my future profession. I really liked the musical part, the songs from different parts of Eurasia.”
