The Department of Happiness and the EURASIA KIDS Project took part in the first All-Russian Forum "Happy Cities"

The Department of Happiness and the EURASIA KIDS project took part in the first All-Russian Forum “Happy Cities”, which took place online on May 26-27.

The organizer of a large-scale event, the Living Cities Community has been researching the theme of Happiness in the life of a city and a person in it for several years, discovering and testing new and effective methods and approaches.

The large-scale Forum made it possible to exchange experience, hear the opinions of leading experts of the country and the world, and, most importantly, start implementing the best solutions and practices in each city. Leading experts from Russia and the world, leaders of urban initiatives, together with the participants, have created a set of recommendations applicable to any city and any conscious city dweller.

The Forum was held online, on a webinar platform. The event was broadcast on YouTube. More than 20 hours of useful content, more than 40 experts of all-Russian and world level in the development of people and organizations, cities and territories, more than 1000 participants - this is only a part of the statistics of the event.

The introduction of technologies to increase the involvement of citizens in the processes of positive changes, increase the attractiveness of cities and regions of the country for life and productive activity, increase indices of trust, happiness and investment attractiveness of cities and the country, involvement in the community of creators and leaders of territorial development. These and other topics were the main ones at the event.

The experience of colleagues from different regions of Russia and other countries made it possible to exchange new ideas, contacts, learn about the possibilities of happy living in small towns and regions.

The happiness of every person is one of the main tasks of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The plans of the Department of Happiness and the project EURASIA KIDS include mobile Days of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The pilot project will be implemented in June 2021. The first region will be Udmurtia. The Days of Happiness are timed to coincide with the International Children's Day.

Happiness volunteers from African countries have already joined the initiative. The event will be attended by Irina Chebareva, two-time champion of Russia, Moscow and Belarus, winner of the Continents Cup in wheelchair dance among children. The happiness of every person begins with a small homeland. The happiness of humanity begins with the happy eyes of a child.
