On December 15, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Belyaninov took part in a meeting of the Committee on Information Policy of the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
“We see a huge potential in the Chamber, which lies in its young and active members - representatives of all regions of Russia. The first steps of cooperation have already been laid in St. Petersburg during the sixth International Public Forum “Preserving the Memory of the Second World and the Great Patriotic Wars” on December 5-6, 2020”, - said Andrei Belyaninov.
Among the projects of mutual interest to the Assembly and the Chamber he listed, in particular, such as the annual International Youth Forum "TOGETHER" in the Republic of Crimea, the children's documentary film competition “Eaglet” and the video contest of personal stories “My Immortal Regiment”. “These projects are a powerful impetus for the development of work with youth in the information space and the space of historical memory,” - stressed the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
The Chamber of Young Legislators, recognizing the need to create new tools and platforms for uniting youth and youth leaders from Russia and the Eurasian space, decided to support the projects of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
