Online Marathon «Eurasian Languages Symphony». Opening Ceremony

The International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly” under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO held an online marathon “Eurasian Languages Symphony” on February 21, dedicated to the International Day of the Mother Language.

The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belyaninov and the Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Ordzhonikidze opened the Online Marathon “Eurasian Languages Symphony”.

The 7-hour Marathon program includes videos from Eurasian countries, congratulations from public figures and politicians. The viewer will see musical greetings from 450 artists in 38 languages, poems, songs, stories, cartoons and fairy tales for children. Special guests of the marathon are from Russia, France, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Serbia, Germany, Armenia, Israel, Ukraine, Poland, India, Portugal, Great Britain, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Tajikistan, Georgia.
