On February 15, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” opens an educational course of online lectures within the project “Heritage of Eurasia: Rural Communities”.
Residents of rural areas of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as constituent entities of the Russian Federation, rural youth, representatives of local communities (representatives of society, government, culture, education, economics) are invited to participate.
The educational module programs were developed with the support of experts from the Center for Social Technologies "A Cause with Meaning".
Participation in the project will provide an opportunity for rural activists to become part of the Eurasian community of authors of cultural projects, increase the level of competence in the field of preserving ethnocultural heritage through mastering the practice of design, meet experts in rural development, exchange experiences, and build network cooperation in the Eurasian space.
Active participants in the educational module and the project as a whole will be invited to Moscow for a two-day Forum and will be rewarded with educational grants in the form of the opportunity to participate in an educational internship.

During March, a series of online lectures will also be held for participants in the International Competition of Cultural Practices “Heritage of Eurasia” on the topic “Project activities of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” with the participation of expert practitioners and project managers of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
The project “Heritage of Eurasia: rural communities” is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and is a continuation of the project “Heritage of Eurasia: cultural practices of rural areas.”
The project is aimed at scaling the cultural practices of rural areas of the Eurasian space, expanding the potential of partnerships of local communities in the preservation and development of cultural heritage.
