President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a greeting to the participants of the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

The President noted that the Assembly, established four years ago, brings together representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, business circles and non-governmental organizations, talented and caring youth from dozens of countries. It provides them with an excellent opportunity for an open, interested discussion of a wide range of problems related to the prospects for the development of multilateral interaction, integration in the Eurasian space.

“Today, in a complex international environment, it is important to fully use the significant creative potential of the Assembly - as one of the forums of public diplomacy - to strengthen the traditions of friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual understanding on the Eurasian continent, to build up contacts in all spheres of humanitarian cooperation, in business, tourism, sports. And of course, it is necessary to give priority attention to such a key topic as preserving the historical truth about the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War,” - Vladimir Putin stressed.

The President of the Russian Federation wished the participants of the General Eurasian Peoples' Assembly fruitful communication and success in their multifaceted activities.
