Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "WON TOGETHER" will be held from October 28 to November 3

The XVIII International Film Festival of Documentary Films "WON TOGETHER" named after Vladimir Menshov will be held this year from October 28 to November 3. The opening of a special program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Caucasus will become a significant event.

The organizers of the film festival are the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. The festival is held with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The festival’s focus is documentaries about the common military feat of the countries participating in the Second World War and films that reveal the themes of feat and victory in the modern world - in cultural, social, professional and other spheres of life, the films that humanistic values, heroism, poetics and the problems of our days.

The program includes five international competitions: The International Documentary Film Competition (conditionally divided into two blocks: "Memory" and "Reflection" - films on historical and modern topics), Film School Competition, Television Competition, Social Film Competition, Film Competition "History in the Frame".

In addition to international competitions, the festival program includes: National (Russian) competition, special and non-competitive programs and events - master classes, special screenings, lectures, presentations, round tables.

Recall that documentary and television works produced in 2022-2023 are accepted for participation in the film festival. The choice of films should correspond to the goals and ideas of the festival, but not limited thematically (history, sports, culture, fortitude in overcoming obstacles, etc.).
