Trend Life: Azerbaijani Poet - the Winner of the 100-Day Marathon of All-Russian Festival “LiFFt”

BAKU, /Trend Life/ - The Azerbaijani poet Sahib Mamedov became the winner of the 5th All-Russian Literary Festival of the “LiFFt” in the “Poetry” nomination, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Trend Life reports. Sahib Mamedov presented the works “I would disappear” and “Beyond the Edge of Time”.

Sahib Mamedov is a two-time laureate of the literary festival contest of the “Nasimi”, a laureate of the Eurasian festival LiFFt-2019 among young poetry reciters, a laureate of national and international contests.

Anna Revyakina was recognized as the laureate of “LiFFt-2020”, Elena Olzeeva is the laureate in the nominations “Prose” and Tatiana Apuntsova in the nomination “Songwriter”.

Over 200 participants from over 20 countries took part in the festival that was held in two rounds for 100 days. The winners were determined by calculating “likes” and comments. It is interesting that seven representatives of Azerbaijan were short listed at once - Agshin Aliyev, Elmira Almasova, Ibrahim Ilyasli, Marina Kolomazova, Sariya Mamedova, Sahib Mamedov and Saida Subhi. Recall, the representative of Azerbaijan, Varis Yolchuev, became the winner of the 2018 Festival in Sochi.

The Eurasian Literary Festival of Festivals “LiFFt” and the All-Russian Literary Festival of Festivals “LiFFt” have been held since 2016. Literary figures from the countries of Eurasia and Russia attend the festival. The Chairman of the festival is General director of the “LiFFt” project, Chairman of the Literary Council of Writers and Readers of Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Chairman of the Union of Writers and Readers, the Deputy Chairman for the culture of the Assembly of peoples of Russia, member of the international PEN centre, poet and philosopher Margarita Almukhametova (Margarita Al).
