TASS: Eurasian Peoples' Assembly plans to open Representative Offices in Arab and African Countries

Offices of the organization will be able to start work at the end of 2022

KAZAN, December 6. /TASS/. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly at the end of 2022 and in 2023 plans to open representative offices in several Arab and African countries. This was announced to TASS on Tuesday by the Secretary General of the Assembly Andrei Belyaninov on the sidelines of the International Forum dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

"It is planned [to open new representative offices], and mainly in the Arab countries - Egypt, Syria, Morocco. I think that in Lebanon too," - Belyaninov said, adding that the organization's offices will be able to start working at the end of 2022.

In particular, according to him, an agreement was reached with the Syrian delegation to open a representative office in Damascus. The Assembly recently opened a representative office in Jordan.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is an international union of non-governmental organizations and citizens with an active life position, sharing and promoting the ideas and values ​​of Eurasian integration, protecting peace, strengthening friendship, harmony, partnership and good neighborliness between peoples.
