Svetlana Smirnova was awarded the Order of Friendship

Today, December 20, in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Friendship to the First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples' of Russia Svetlana Smirnova.

The Russian Order of Friendship is awarded for special merits in strengthening peace, friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between peoples. In 2019, the Co-Chairman of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Bernard Loze was awarded the Order of Friendship.
