“Russkiy Mir”: “Russian House in Verona” will hold a Concert Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory

The Russian House in Verona will hold a festive concert on October 10 to mark the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It will be attended by artists from Verona and other cities of Italy, according to the website of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

The event will be held under the patronage of the Russian Consulate General in Milan, the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Rome and the Moscow Centre for International Cooperation. The organizers have invited Russian compatriots and their Italian friends to a free concert; all the viewers have to do is to register.

“Our task is to preserve the memory of the feat of our people, who, with their unity and solidarity, hard work and dedication, incredible love for the Motherland, provided us with peace, freedom and independence,” - said the president of the Association Marina Kholodenova.

“Russkiy Mir” reported before that in the spring and summer of this year, in the acute phase of the coronavirus spread, the Centre conducted online Russian language classes for residents of Italy and other countries.
