The research project of the Eurasian Center for Project Initiatives “Women’s face of public diplomacy: from motive to action” will be presented at the Civic Chamber of Russia as part of the meeting “The Role of the Women’s Community in the Modern World”.

Today, women play an increasingly prominent role in the development of public diplomacy and the harmonization of international relations, while their number in the field of official diplomacy around the world has increased in recent years. Their personal and professional journey, experience of uniting public organizations and activists from all over the world, even in difficult international conditions, is often unique, as are the projects, programs and initiatives that they manage to implement.

“The study of the experience of implementing international projects led by women, the motives for their active social activities and their role in building trust between people from different countries prompted the study “The Women’s Face” of public diplomacy: from motive to action,” the presentation of which will take place very soon at the Civic Chamber of Russia, and then within the framework of the Eurasian Women’s Forum in the fall in St. Petersburg,” said the author of the project, Natalia Zabolotskikh, General Director of the ANO “Eurasian Center for Project Initiatives”, political scientist, coordinator of the International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy”.

During the study, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the Eurasian Center for Project Initiatives will introduce you to the project participants - public diplomats from around the world and talk about their personal and professional paths. On April 16, the first interview with Khristina Romanenko, co-founder and president of the Tunisian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, winner of the 1st International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy”, editor-in-chief of the periodical online publication “Vestnik Compatriot” will be released.
