The representative office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan has joined the Russian volunteer movement, in which caring citizens and organizations help older people, people with limited mobility, who are voluntarily quarantined for corona virus in Russia.

“We understand that during a pandemic and self-isolation, there is a demand in people who are ready to provide assistance to those in need free of charge. And we are pleased to provide such support. Most members of the Assembly’s representation who have joined the volunteer movement can travel by car and process applications quickly. We hope this will make the response to requests for assistance even more effective,” - said Dmitry Trapeznikov, Executive Secretary of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan; he is also among the volunteers.

14 members of the Representation attended a training course for volunteers and received certificates.
