Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly will appear in the Republic of Abkhazia

On May 12, the city of Sukhumi hosted a meeting of the Secretary General of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" Andrei Belyaninov and the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania.

Within the working visit, the parties discussed issues of possible cooperation. The Government of the Republic has expressed its interest in the Assembly activities.

The project EURASIA KIDS aroused particular interest. Abkhazia is ready to provide an opportunity for organizing recreation for children from the countries of Greater Eurasia.

The Republic is also ready to take part in the First Eurasian Games EURASIADA that is planned to be held in Bashkortostan in 2025.

In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of creating a Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Abkhazia.
