A Presentation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly’s Project “TOWARDS THE EURASIADA” was held at SPIEF-2023

On June 17, within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023, a presentation of the games in national and non-Olympic sports "Towards the Eurasiada" was held. It will be held on August 24-27 this year in the capital of Bashkortostan (Russia) Ufa.

It is symbolic that the event took place exactly one year after the signing of the agreement on holding the games between the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The presentation took place in the pavilion of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation "Sport is the norm of life".

Ruslan Kinzikeev, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia), Deputy of the Council of the Ufa city district, delivered a welcoming speech. He greeted the participants of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on behalf of the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Head of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) Andrey Nazarov and assured that the event will be held at the highest level.

The presentation of the games was held by the General Director of the ANO "Directorate of Sports Programs of the Eurasiada", a member of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Ilya Lomako. He emphasized that in addition to a rich sports program of competitions, there will also be a festival of ethnic sports and the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Eurasiada - the path to sports cooperation between the peoples of Eurasia in an era of global change."
