People's Favorites of the Year selected in Kazakhstan

Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoles’ Assembly, Chairman of the Spiritual Culture Counsil of the Assembly, President of the International Association «Peace through Culture», President of the International Public Fundation  «Congress of Spiritual Consent», Co-Chair of the World Spiritual Culture Forum (Kazakhstan), famous Kazakh composer and statesman Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov and Co-Chair of the Literary Counsil of Writers and Readers of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, famous Kazakh writer Bakhyt Rustemov became the winners of the XIX National Award «Халықтың сүйіктісі — People's Favorite of the Year».

The Awards Ceremony took place in the capital of Kazakhstan on January 18. Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov was awarded in the honorary nomination «Golden Age». Bakhyt Rustemov received the honorary nomination «Best Writer-Publicist».

The vote was held in the official Facebook group of the Award. In each award category, up to ten applicants were nominated by social media users as well as the jury.

The National Award - «Халықтың сүйіктісі — People’s Favorite of the Year» was organized in 2011 by the Republic-Region-Development Foundation. It is awarded for popularity and competence to people and organizations that were in full view of the Kazakh community.
