Partner of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly presented a Russian Medal to the Bulgarian Pilot-Cosmonaut

On December 20, in Sofia, the Bulgarian pilot-cosmonaut Krasimir Stoyanov was solemnly awarded the Russian medal “60 years of Cosmonautics”.

The award was presented to the cosmonaut by Stanka Shopova, member and partner of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Chairman of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria.

Today Krasimir Stoyanov is the Head of the Aviation and Space Center (Kamchia, Bulgaria), one of the leaders of the children's programs "Intercosmos Today!", "Together in Space - Together on Earth!", "Space and We!" and others. The pilot-cosmonaut actively cooperates with the Russian Cultural and Information Center - Russian House in Sofia and with the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria.

The medal "60 Years of Cosmonautics" was established in Russia in 2021 to commemorate the anniversary of Soviet and Russian cosmonautics.
