More than 30 countries will take part in the First International Games of Non-Olympic sports in Ufa

The first international games of national and non-Olympic sports "Towards Eurasian Games" will be held in Ufa from August 24 to 27. About 1000 athletes from more than 30 countries will take part in the competitions.

The Games include 10 sports: hand-to-hand combat, aerial athletics, computer sports, arm wrestling, tug of war, mass wrestling, kettlebell lifting, polyathlon, gorodki and knife throwing sports.

The competitions will also include the World Belt Wrestling Championship among boys and girls aged 15-17 and the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Eurasian Games - the Way to Sports Cooperation among the Peoples of Eurasia in the Era of Global Changes".

The organisers are the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organisations "Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly" and the Committee on National and Non-Olympic Sports of Russia.
