Meetings with Partners: Russian House in Verona

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly holds a series of online “Meetings with Partners”.

On June 2, representatives of the Assembly met with Marina Kholodenova, President of the Russian House in Verona (Italy).

What projects should be given the most attention during the pandemic, what is important for Italy now, what are the plans of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and the Russian House in Verona – these topics were discussed during the partners’ meeting.

Participants of the Meeting:

  • Svetlana Smirnova, First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly;
  • Marina Kholodenova, President of the Association “Russian House in Verona”;
  • Irina Polyakova, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat for Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

The meeting was moderated by Lubov Elkina, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly for Information Policy.

Association “Russian House in Verona” was officially registered in Italy on November 4, 2011. Since that time it is the center for Russian language, culture and history in Verona. It promotes the consolidation of the “Russian World” on the basis of the unity of spiritual and cultural values. Among the goals of the organization - preservation of traditions of the Russian people among the compatriots, the maintenance of historical memory about the high role of the Russian language and culture in the world through the cultural-humanitarian cooperation, mutual contributions and mutual exchange.
