The international track of the #WeAreTogether Award was opened in 2020 to support the global volunteer community during the pandemic. The idea received a great response, and the track called "We are together" became an annual. Its goal is to encourage citizens and organizations of all countries of the world for their selfless contribution to solving the most important humanitarian problems and strengthening international cooperation.

“During this time, we have accumulated a lot of experience and every year we have worked better and better. We see that attention to this Prize is also growing. In such a turbulent time in the world it is very important for us to build bridges of friendship between countries and people,” said Leonid Roshal, Chairman of the International Directorate of the Prize, President of the National Medical Chamber, President of the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology, Children's Doctor of the World.

The "We are together" track accepts applications only from foreign volunteers and organizations representing foreign countries from the CIS, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, North and South America regions.

Applications for the third season of 2023 are accepted until August 8 at https://wearetogetherprize.com. The application must contain a description of the nominees’ special contribution to the solution of humanitarian problems and the development of international partnerships.

Goodness and volunteerism unite the people of the world - and the results of “We are together” prove it. In 2021, the organizers received applications from 59 countries of the world, in 2022 - already from 85 countries. The scope of beneficiaries of all projects presented in the international track amounted to more than 22 million people. Citizens and organizations of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, Denmark, USA, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, India, China, Thailand, Pakistan, Qatar, Zimbabwe, Liberia and the Republic of South Africa became laureates of past seasons.

The organizers of the Award await the participants of the new season and invite them to cooperation, which will contribute to further cooperation and the development of volunteering in the world.

To evaluate the applications, the organizers invited independent foreign experts - leaders of non-profit organizations from 32 countries: from Chile to Zimbabwe. The International Directorate includes the leaders of the Youth Forum of Islamic Cooperation, the UN Economic and Social Council in Africa, the Secretariat for Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, and national volunteer movements. It is they who will make the final decision on the track winners in 2023.

Each of the 9 laureates of the track will receive a prize in the amount of $10,000. The finalists will be invited to the International Civic Participation Forum #WeAreTogether, which will take place in Moscow on December 5, 2023. The first persons of the country and leaders of international organizations will take part in the Forum.

“Our scope has increased since receiving the Award. We are now halfway through launching new segments that will improve our telemedicine service. We have the opportunity to focus on investing in the training and development of medical professionals, as well as employees of the head office. We have plans to bring Sehat Kahani to the global level” (Nida Farooqi, Executive Director of Technology Development of the Sehat Kahani Platform, Pakistan, winner of the Award in 2022 in the nomination “Medicine and Healthy Lifestyle”).

Sehat Kahani is a digital health platform in Pakistan established to democratize medical consultation through the development of telemedicine services. The organization focuses on low income communities. The mobile application of the project allows you to involve in consultations doctors of various specialties - from cardiologists to speech therapists, who have already managed to help 7 million people.

“The #WeAreTogether Award is an example of a philosophy that unites countries around the world: help, support, mutual assistance. As an expert, I see that every year there are projects that make a significant contribution to the development of different countries. Every year there are innovative ideas and projects. These are not just volunteer initiatives - these are hundreds of thousands of “thanks” for alleviating human suffering and providing new opportunities for those who need them most” (Beganim Maxwell, independent expert of the Prize, Ghana).

“Winning the #WeAreTogether Award is a recognition not only of my merits, but also of the merits of my volunteer team. This inspires us to work even harder for our community and nation” (Rohit Kumar, President, Shwarmani Youth Welfare Association, India, winner of the 2022 Environment and Sustainability Award with the Sustainable Action Through Volunteering project. The project helped more than 50 thousand people to gain knowledge on the topic of careful handling of nature and a healthy lifestyle).

The international competition is held with the information support of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
