International Scientific and Practical Roundtable "Iranian-Speaking Peoples of Eurasia: Spiritual Culture and Anthropology" – Outcomes

The International scientific and practical round table "Iranian-speaking peoples of Eurasia: spiritual culture and anthropology" was devoted to the support for young researchers in the field of ethnology, the search for ways of harmonious coexistence and spiritual harmony of the Eurasian peoples. The round table was held on June 22 at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly with the participation of members of the Scientific and Student Association "Dorzhievsky Society of Ethnogeopolitics" of the Russian State University for the Humanities.

The round table was attended by authoritative experts:

  • RANJBAR Meshkin Danial, post-graduate student of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Iran);
  • MARGOEV Adlan Ramzanovich, Research Associate, Institute of International Studies, Moscow State Institute of International Relations;
  • KOKLIKOV Vladimir Olegovich, Senior Lecturer, Department of Oriental Languages, Faculty of Translation, Moscow State Linguistic University;
  • OCHILOVA Mehriniso Ilkhomovna, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Persian and Chinese Languages, Khujand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov (Tajikistan);
  • KHIDIROV Valery Zurabovich, Permanent Representative of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in the Far Eastern Federal District, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of the Khabarovsk Territory;
  • MIKHALEV Maksim Sergeevich, Scientific Director of the Dorzhievsky Society of Ethnogeopolitics, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities.

Among the young speakers were students from Iran, Mongolia, Russia, and Tajikistan. Members of the Dorjiev Society of Ethnogeopolitics presented their scientific research for discussion.

During the open discussion, the following questions were considered:

  • The Experience of Studying the Culture of Iranian-Speaking Peoples in the Context of Eurasian Integration
  • Language as the basis of the spiritual culture of peoples
  • Preservation and development of the languages of the Iranian group, their role in the formation of the spiritual relationship of the peoples of Eurasia
  • Ways to Strengthen international communications through research and development
  • The role of public organizations in the development of the spiritual harmony of peoples

Round table participants, among whom there were also members of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, members of the Council for Spiritual Culture, noted the importance of exchanging views and experiences of different generations, the need to continue such cooperation in the study of history and traditions to strengthen mutual understanding and consent of the peoples of Eurasia.
