International Forum of Friendship Houses “Eurasian Bridges of Friendship" will be held on September 22-23

On September 22-23, the International forum of Friendship Houses “Eurasian Bridges of friendship” will be held in Moscow. The Forum is supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and with the active participation of the Eurasian Youth Assembly.

Organizers: All-Russian public organization “Assembly of peoples of Russia” and all-Russian public movement “Co-Creation of peoples in the aim of Life” (Senezh forum).

Partners: the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Committee on International relations and friendly relations with foreign countries under Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, Assembly of people of Kyrgyzstan, Department of national policy and Interregional ties of the City of Moscow, Moscow House of Nationalities, the Cultural Centre of the peoples of Russia, State Russian House of Folk Art named after V.D. Polenov.

The purpose of the Forum is to expand cooperation and exchange experience and best practices of such effective structures as Houses of Friendship, Houses of Nationalities, centres of national cultures to preserve the spiritual values of peoples, their identity and cultural traditions, identify and implement promising, innovative technologies in the field of national (ethnic) relations, and develop cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

Heads and specialists of Friendship Houses, Houses of Nationalities, Centres of national cultures, resource centres in the field of national relations of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, representatives of the authorities of the participating countries whose activities are related to the implementation of state national policy are invited to participate in the Forum; representatives of civil society of the participating countries, heads and activists of non-governmental organizations operating in the ethno-cultural sphere, as well as leading experts, representatives of culture, science and education of the participating countries who have experience in research and practical work in the field of harmonization of inter-ethnic relations.

The forum program includes a plenary session, a scientific and practical conference, discussion platforms, a panel session, master classes, and a foresight session to determine the directions, forms of cooperation and joint projects of the Friendship Houses of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

The Forum will be held on September 22 at the Moscow House of Nationalities (Novaya Basmannaya str., 4, p. 1), and on September 23 at the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V. D. Polenov (Sverchkov lane, 8, p. 3) in a mixed offline and online format.
