On the initiative of the Council for Spiritual Culture of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Novosibirsk, on the eve of the opening of the Memorial Complex of Gratitude to the Ancestors, more than 60 cedars were planted.

The main idea of the Memorial Complex, located in the Svetly residential area, is to perpetuate the tradition of gratitude to previous generations for their faith and contribution to a Bright Future that enables descendants, relying on the achievements of their predecessors, to live in a Bright Present - in peace and harmony.

After the grand opening, which will take place on September 21, 2021, on the International Day of Peace, the Memorial Complex will serve as a venue for celebrations, events, a place to visit for regional and international delegations. The ritual of hitting the "Peace Bell" will become an act of gratitude to the ancestors for their selfless striving for peace, for the preserved traditions, experience, knowledge that allow us to live and create today.

More than 150 people took part in the event. According to the participants of the action, planting trees inspired people, united representatives of different generations, and gave everyone a lot of positive emotions.

The planting of trees on the Alley of Gratitude to the Ancestors took place within the unlimited International Public Action "Garden of Peace" under the motto "Keep the Peace - Plant a Tree - Save the Planet", which was launched in April this year by the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly together with partners.
