Korgoli Korgoliev thanked the guests for their visit and stressed Khasavyurt's interest in establishing fruitful cooperation with other cities and regions of the Russian Federation.
“I am convinced that active cooperation between regional municipalities can solve several problems at once. This includes cooperation in various areas of urban life, and the launch of joint projects in culture, sports, and business. For example, exchange programs for schoolchildren are important - students from other regions can get acquainted with the sights and traditions of Dagestan during the holidays, and Khasavyurt children can get acquainted with the architecture, historical and cultural monuments of other Russian cities.
The more common themes, the more communication between cities’ residents we have, the stronger is our unity. We are always happy to make new friends,” - said the Head of Khasavyurt.
In his turn, Yuri Palamarchuk thanked Korgoli Korgoliev for the meeting and expressed confidence that Khasavyurt has a huge potential for inter-municipal and intercultural cooperation.
“During all years of its existence, the Assembly attaches great importance to the issues of harmonization of interethnic relations, strengthening relations between representatives of various cities of the Russian Federation. Khasavyurt is an important trade and transport hub in the South of the country. With such national, cultural, and religious diversity, the city has all the opportunities to expand cooperation with other regions of Russia in various areas,” - Yuri Palamarchuk said.
