On April 6, within the international project "Time of Happy Discoveries", the first videoconference was held with People's Artist of Udmurtia, Ambassador of Culture of Udmurtia Nadezhda Utkina.
The agenda included discussions about the motherland, life in Switzerland. We talked about recipes for happiness, about creativity and even managed to sing a few soulful songs with a guitar.
"Udmurtia will always remain my homeland!" the singer said.
And it's true, because behind the artist, we can see a lot of paintings depicting Udmurt rural landscapes.
"These paintings remind me of my homeland, of my home. And Switzerland itself is similar to Udmurtia, the mountains are covered in Christmas trees, like in a Sharkan!" - Nadezhda Utkina shared.
The artist also said that her life in Switzerland is not much different from life in Udmurtia. She is still engaged in creativity, sings in the choir, and in April Nadezhda will plant potatoes.
"In Switzerland, it is not customary to have a hearty breakfast, and I have to teach my husband to have at least fruit for breakfast. I can cook without repeating food for a month, if only with salads. I make soups best of all, and my relatives say that I cook perfectly!" - Nadezhda noted.
At this creative meeting, Nadezhda Utkina practically "programmed" listeners for happiness with her creativity, attitude to life and positivity.
