Eurasian Women Entrepreneurs Share Success and Future Plans

On May 21, the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, represented by the Committee for Support of Women's Entrepreneurship of the Council for International Economic Activity, in partnership with the Russian Branch of the International organization “Women in Nuclear”, the Association for Language Education and International Cooperation and the National Fund for Social and Economic Development of Regions FORAR, held an online meeting “Women of Eurasia. Partnership for Development”.

Alena Yakovleva - President of the Russian Branch of the International organization “Women in Nuclear” (WiN Russia), Head of the Information Portal “Atomic Energy 2.0”, presented the experience of public interaction and the best communication projects of WiN Russia in the nuclear industry in her speech on the “Experience in Creating a Leadership Project aimed at Developing a Professional Women's Community in the Nuclear Industry”. Many of the projects aroused not only a response from the audience and participants of the meeting, but also a desire to become their partners.

Elena Senina - Advocate of the Moscow City Chamber of Advocates, Honored Advocate of Russia, Winner of F. N. Plevako Silver Medal. Awarded the Medal “Glory of Advocate”, Chairman of the Union of International mediators Association of Russian-Speaking Lawyers, a Member of the Interdepartmental working group for improving the regulation of conciliatory procedures of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the European Certificate of the Mediator, allowing to practice in the EU, the Director of the Institute of Mediation RAAN, Creator of Elena Senina International School of Mediation and Negotiation, Creator of the Mediation Centers that are operating successfully in the regions of Russia (Lipetsk, Tula), in Moscow, “Compatriot of  2019” the MCCI Award winner, in her report “Women Advocates and their Association as an Opportunity for Professional Development” revealed the nuances of professional activity of women lawyers, presented research data on the ratio of women and men in the profession, the main professional skills and ways of relaxation in the community of women lawyers.

Alyona Shvetsova - entrepreneur, founder of RRC (Resource Allocation Information Center), partner and official representative of the Hong Kong/China SKYLEX GROUP LTD., presenting the topic “Integration in International Projects”, told about projects in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and opportunities for international cooperation. Alena also presented the project “Empathy” as an example of non-standard international cooperation.

Yulia Petrova - Ph.D. in Economics, Professor, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat for International Cooperation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, presented international projects of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

Natalia Belenko - Head of the International Economic Activity Department of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, summed up the results of the online meeting. She stressed the importance of such meetings. “This is an invaluable opportunity for communication and integration in today's realities,” - Natalia Belenko said.

The meeting was organized and moderated by Elena Drobakh, co-Chair of the Council for International Economic Activity of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Head of the Committee for Women's Entrepreneurship Support of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, President of the National Fund for Socio-Economic Development of Regions FORAR, economic observer of RIA “Banks and Finance”.
