The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly takes part in the Eurasian Economic Forum

The delegation of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" headed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov took part in the Eurasian Economic Forum.

Andrey Belyaninov moderated the panel discussion “Eurasianism as an idea for uniting people. Future Outlook”, and also spoke at the panel discussion “Strategy 2025: Shaping the Image of the Future of the EAEU. New spheres and directions of cooperation in the EAEU”.

The Eurasian Economic Forum, the most important event for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, opened on May 26 in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.

The forum is attended by major leaders of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, statesmen, entrepreneurs, experts and guests from far abroad countries who wish to build partnerships with the EAEU member states.

The main task of the event is to adjust the policy of all members of the bloc in order to accelerate integration in the economy. That is why the key topic of the forum sounds like “Eurasian economic integration in the era of global change. New opportunities for investment activity”.

The Forum includes the following discussions:

  • Prospects for the Strategic Development of Eurasian Integration in the Era of Global Changes
  • Industry and agro-industrial complex as drivers of economic growth of the Union and ensuring economic security
  • EAEU Digital Agenda 2.0
  • Financial markets and development institutions (development banks): opportunities for macroeconomic stability and growth points for the economies of the EAEU countries
  • Energy and transport infrastructure to promote economic development and integration
  • New areas of cooperation in the EAEU

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly plans to sign a number of cooperation agreements within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
