The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly supported the Performance of the Play “Bereginya” in Moscow

October 4 - 5, 2022, the tour of the Omsk State Drama Fifth Theater took place on the stage of the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators. The event was held as part of the “Art Unites” project of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

With great success, with a full house, the unique performance "Bereginya" took place. By plastic means and beautiful music, it told about the value of human life, about the memory of generations and the strength of the family. The performance was attended by ambassadors and representatives of the embassies of the following states: Colombia, Bolivia, Kenya, Yemen, Palestine, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia.

At the end of the performance, Elmira Shcherbakova, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, presented the award of the “Art Unites” project to the heads of the Omsk State Drama Fifth Theater Ilya Kirgintsev and Elena Mamontova.

The theme of the performance "Bereginya" is more relevant today than ever, because this is a creative statement about the feeling that is most important for every person on Earth - love and service to the Motherland.

The performance was based on folk songs from Omsk, Tomsk, Leningrad, Yaroslavl, Bryansk, Vologda, Penza, Tver, Arkhangelsk, Smolensk, Pskov and other regions.
