Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev welcomed the participants of the General Eurasian Peoples' Assembly at the TASS Press Center and online platforms, wished fruitful work and noted the uniqueness of the planned World Conference on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue, which is scheduled on May 16-18 2022 in St. Petersburg:

“Heads of States, heads of parliaments, religious and public figures are invited to participate in the World Conference on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue. There has never been a discussion of the themes of intercultural, interreligious dialogue in the history of mankind in such a format. In the current difficult international environment, any assistance to such a dialogue is welcomed; it initiates major cooperation projects (if this dialogue turns out to be constructive). We can be proud that the UN has supported Russia's readiness to host the conference in our country. As part of the preparation and holding of this conference, we are very interested in cooperation with large, authoritative influential non-governmental organizations, such as the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.”

In 2021, the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly was held on July 9 with the support of the UN Information Center. General Media partner - TASS. Media partners: Big Asia, MTRK Mir, MKR-Media, TV BRICS.
