MOSCOW. In July 2023, the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly hosted a meeting with a member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Bahrain, President of the Bahrain Association for Russian Speakers Mr. Yousif Zainal, and Head of the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Mohamad Al Muaini.
The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly was represented by the Deputy Secretary General, Professor Yulia Petrova, Head of the Department of Sustainable Development, Dr. Yaser Allaham, Head of the Department for the Development of International Education and Partnership Alana Kochieva, Chief Specialist of the Department of Sustainable Development Stanislav Olenin, specialists of the Department Ekaterina Kurochkina and Polina Popova.
Mr. Mohamad Al Muaini spoke about the activities of the Institute, its main mission - the development and promotion of cultural diplomacy through the implementation of projects, holding international conferences and other events in order to achieve peace and harmony among peoples.
Yulia Petrova highlighted the Assembly activities and noted that the goals of the organizations coincide. Nowadays it is very important to deepen partnership with the countries of the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the entire Eurasian space.
“Everything we are working on can be labelled by the term "humanitarian modernization". Cultural diplomacy, education, science diplomacy - this is part of the global concept of humanitarian modernization,” Yulia Petrova emphasized.
For his part, Member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Bahrain Mr. Yousif Zainal noted the importance of cooperation with the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and gladly accepted the invitation to the International Forum on Public Diplomacy, which will be held in October 2023.
“These events portend a new era of cultural integration and interaction between the peoples of the Eurasian continent, because cooperation and unification are the path to peace and progress,” - Mr. Yousif Zainal said.
