The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly discussed Specialized Councils’ Plans

On April 11, a meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Specialized Councils of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly took place.

The main topic of the meeting’s agenda was the discussion of the councils’ work plans for 2023.

The Secretary General, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Specialized Councils of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrey Belyaninov informed the meeting participants about the opening of two new councils by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and introduced the Chairman of the Council for the Development of Children’s Creativity of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Valentin Ovsyannikov and the Chairman of the Council for Historical Memory of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Laila Akhmetova.

“Meetings of the Coordinating Committee of the Specialized Councils of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, we hold once a quarter, are our common platform for improving the efficiency of joint work. Time has shown that the councils’ activity is a living structure. In the rapidly changing modern conditions, new directions and trends, new partners are emerging, so we should not be afraid to rotate the members of the councils,” - the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly noted in his speech.

The meeting participants made proposals on the participation of the councils in the general events of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, and also approved the work plan of the Specialized Councils’ Coordinating Committee of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly for 2023.

Summing up the meeting, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly noted that the work in council is a public necessity for the participants, and thanked colleagues for the work they do along with their daily tasks.
