The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the “Testament of Ancestors” Public Association signed an Agreement

On April 28, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Public Association "Atamnyn amanaty" ("Testament of the Ancestors") (Kazakhstan).

The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and the Chairman of the Board of Atamnyn amanaty Murat Moldagaliev.

The parties agreed to carry out interaction aimed at deepening partnership between the peoples of different countries; increasing the role of public diplomacy in ensuring trust and mutual understanding between states; development of international relations aimed at supporting public, state, peacekeeping initiatives; promoting the preservation of historical memory; promotion of topical historical research; joint implementation of socially significant programs, projects and cultural and educational events in the field of international cooperation.

NGO "Atamnyn amanaty" was established in May 2019 having the aim of uncovering the fate of Kazakh soldiers who went missing during the Second World War.
