The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the Russian National Committee for Black Sea Economic Cooperation signed an Agreement

On June 3, on the sidelines of the International Forum of People's Diplomacy, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Association of Citizens and Legal Entities for Economic Cooperation "Russian National Committee for Black Sea Economic Cooperation" signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and the Chairman of the Russian National Committee for Black Sea Economic Cooperation Viktor Arkhipov.

The parties entered into a cooperation agreement based on the understanding of the important role of entrepreneurship in the socio-economic development of the Eurasian states, recognizing the need to intensify trade and economic, technological and research ties between partner enterprises in the Eurasian space, in order to promote the implementation of high-tech, innovative, export oriented projects, having, among other things, an integration component, and striving to provide each other with wider assistance, using the unique integration potential of business diplomacy, a system of equal international partnership, exchange of experience and dialogue.

About the Russian National Committee for Black Sea Economic Cooperation

The Russian National Committee for Black Sea Economic Cooperation was established as a socially oriented non-profit organization to ensure Russian participation in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. OS-P2-32585 of October 23, 1995. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia acted as the main founder of the RNC BSEC. At the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 500 of April 26, 1997, the RNC BSEC was defined as the body coordinating the activities of Russian business and public structures related to the participation of the Russian Federation in the BSEC. Sector dialogue partners: Republic of Hungary, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Korea, Montenegro. RNC BSEC implements projects in various areas of activity, mainly in the business sector. Great importance is attached to establishing contacts with the participating countries, observers and partners of the BSEC: the leadership of the BSEC RNC regularly holds meetings with ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions, government agencies and business communities both in Russia and abroad.
