Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association signed a Cooperation Agreement

On November 11, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly" and the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association signed a cooperation agreement at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in Moscow.

The agreement was signed by Svetlana Smirnova, First Deputy Secretary General and Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, and Vladimir Buyanov, Chairman of the Central Board of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association.

The main aim of the agreement is to promote the development of international relations on the basis of versatile cooperation and spiritual and moral values.

Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly is an International Non-Governmental Organization aimed at forming a public integration model for the sake of establishing peace and harmony through the development of multilateral cooperation and public (people's) diplomacy in the Eurasian space. The Assembly unites representatives of more than 43 countries. The organization has concluded 130 partnership agreements in the field of culture, entrepreneurship, development of integration ties between the peoples of Eurasia and public diplomacy. Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association

Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association is the legal successor of the Soviet-Vietnam Friendship Association, established on July 31, 1958. For 25 years, the pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Vietnam G.S. Titov was the Chairman of the Association. Since 2005, the Association has been operating on the basis of the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law. Many Russia-Vietnam projects have been implemented thanks to the long-term financial and administrative support of MAEL, a collective member of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association.
