The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the Institute of Oriental Studies signed a Cooperation Agreement

On January 26, at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in Moscow (Russia), an agreement on cooperation between the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” and the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences was signed online.

The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and Director Alikber Alikberov.

The parties plan, in particular, to intensify cooperation in scientific, educational and cultural activities in the interests of sustainable development; promote the formation of an international expert and professional community in the main areas of scientific, educational, social, cultural and humanitarian activities; develop scientific diplomacy mechanisms in order to represent and increase the authority of the scientific community on international platforms.
