EURASIA KIDS. Online Trip to Italy

Another creative online meeting of the project #EurasiaKids was held in Italy. The guide, Elena Nabel, became a conduit to the world of art, culture and beauty. She’s been living in Tuscany for twenty years.

Children, parents and teachers from different regions tried to determine the image of Italy. For some of them it is Tchaikovsky’s Napolitan Song, for others - pizza and pasta, or - Ninja turtles, and for the elder generation – Italian singers and artists.

At the meeting children learned interesting facts about the history of Italy and even got the Italians’ character trails. In Italy, people are openhearted, kind, frank, wish the best, help people and love their homeland very much.

Italy is divided into 20 regions, and each one has its own sights. For example, the symbol of fabulous Florence is a red iris. But there are no irises of that color in nature. The mayor of the city announced that the one who will manage to create the red iris, will become an honorary citizen of Florence and will receive a two-room apartment.

Of course, Italy is worth to be loved just for its beauty, warmth and courage, which all people of the country need now.
