On 24 March 2023, an open lecture-meeting with space pilot and Hero of the Russian Federation, Elena Kondakova, was held as part of the space-related events of the Days of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in India.

The event was held simultaneously at two venues: the Kadakin Comprehensive School under the Russian Embassy in India and the Amity International School Mayur Vihar.

The lecture was dedicated to women's participation in space exploration. During the history of space exploration, 57 women from different countries of the world have been to space. Nowadays, conditions have matured, and it is expedient to have more women cosmonauts in space.

Yelena Kondakova is the third female cosmonaut in the history of the Soviet Union and Russia. She made two flights in 1994 and 1997, spending a total of 178 days in space and setting a world record in the duration of a woman's stay in orbit.

The lecture was attended by students from an Indian college. Elena spoke not only about her experiences, but also about other women cosmonauts.

At the end of the lecture, all the participants appreciated the importance of sharing experiences on key achievements of women in space.
