“Diplomacy of Happiness” Projects of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly expand the Reach of Participants

The II All-Russian Forum “Inclusive School. The success of every child" has finished in Surgut. More than 1,500 managers from 78 regions of Russia, the Republic of Belarus and Uzbekistan took part in the events. The Forum was also attended by: The Head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Director of the ANO “Eurasian Center for Family Values” Marina Volkova and Editor-in-Chief of the Assembly’s magazine “Aggregator of Happiness” Alexandra Zolotova.

The main goal of the dialogue platform is to create an inclusive environment where every child can realize his or her potential and develop successfully.

Forum participants - specialists, representatives of NGOs and parents discussed how to make assistance to special children continuous and provide them with maximum support. That is why the main topic of the forum was “Transit planning”. Particular attention was paid to education, medicine, leisure and self-realization.

The Head of the Department of Happiness, Marina Volkova, presented at the Forum the multifaceted program of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly “There is Happiness!”, introduced the participants to the “Aggregator of Happiness” magazine and made a presentation of the “Letters of Happiness” project. All participants of the action were invited to remember the good tradition of sending handwritten mail, which brings joy to loved ones. In addition, the postal items - special postcards - depict  drawings of children participants in the "The World Draws Happiness" project.

“I would like to say special words of gratitude to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) for organizing and the opportunity to participate in such a significant event that can expand the horizons of inclusion of children and their families in society,” noted Marina Volkova, “We are engaged in the diplomacy of happiness - we are developing projects, a magazine. “Inclusion” - from the Latin word inclusio - “inclusion, involvement” - is an important process of transforming society. It means the active inclusion of all people in public life, regardless of their characteristics. And our projects are aimed at making everyone feel happy.”

As a result of the Forum, a Memorandum was adopted containing decisions that are designed to provide children with special needs with high quality education, the necessary support and assistance.
