Delegation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly visited the Russian Centre in Dushanbe

On June 19, 2023, the delegations of the All-Russian public organization "Assembly of the Peoples of Russia" and the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly" visited the "Russian Center" of the Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Friendship Society "Tajikistan - Russia" in the city of Dushanbe of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Russian Center was opened at the Tajik National University on June 10, 2010 on the basis of an agreement concluded between the non-profit organization Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Tajik National University in order to popularize the Russian language and literature, support Russian language study programs abroad. The Russian Center today is a non-profit organization actively working in the field of public diplomacy, which regularly organizes and holds cultural and socially significant events, competitions for students, students of general educational institutions of Tajikistan, who develop motivation to learn the Russian language. The Russian Center provides scientific and methodological assistance to schools and universities of the Republic of Tajikistan in teaching and learning the language, organizes and conducts advanced training courses, summer and winter schools of the Russian language.

The head of the "Russian Center" is an enthusiast and a true associate of his work Mekhrinisso Nagzibekov.

The Friendship Society "Tajikistan - Russia" and the "Russian Center" have been in a good neighborhood for many years, supporting and helping each other. Such a tandem is beneficial to the common cause, strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
