Bashkortostan Hosted the Semi-Final of the Competition “Masters of Hospitality”

On March 11-13, the regional semi-final of the "Masters of Hospitality" competition, called "From the Urals to the Volga Region," took place in the capital of Bashkiria. It was attended by 89 contestants from 12 regions of Russia, who showed the best results at the distance-testing phase.

The competition “Masters of Hospitality” is organized by the presidential platform “Russia - the Land of Opportunities” and the National Union of Hospitality. The finalists were 14 participants from 6 regions of Russia: 6 - from the Republic of Bashkortostan, 4 - from the Sverdlovsk region, and one winner each from the Kurgan, Moscow, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions.

“In Bashkortostan they always loved to welcome guests. In recent years, we have been trying to develop the tourism sector systematically as one of the most important sectors of our economy,”- said Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, during the presentation of tourism projects prepared by the semi-finalists of the All-Russian competition “Masters of Hospitality”. - In the republic, many diverse tasks in the field of tourism are being currently solved: museum complexes are being built, tourism infrastructure and services are being developed. We are ready to help entrepreneurs who want to go in this direction - to allocate land, connect necessary utilities, provide other support measures."

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Head of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Bashkiria, Andrei Nazarov, congratulating the finalists, noted that there are many representatives of Bashkiria among the winners and, therefore, "the final of the presidential platform competition can be held in Ufa".
