Artificial Intelligence Application Center will appear in the Tyumen Region

Government of the Tyumen Region and ANO "Laboratory of Digital Transformation" on the creation of an artificial intelligence application center in the region signed an agreement within the XIV Tyumen Digital Forum and Exhibition of Information Technologies "INFOTECH".

Strategic agreements important for the digital development of the Russian region were concluded at the XIV Tyumen Digital Forum and Exhibition of Information Technologies "INFOTECH-2021".

On October 13, during the panel discussion "Digital transformation strategy: from strategic goals to results", the Government of the Tyumen Region and the autonomous non-profit organization for promoting the development of the digital economy "Digital Transformation Laboratory", established by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly", signed an agreement on the establishment and maintenance of a regional center for the use of artificial intelligence in the Tyumen region. Such a center will become a platform for supporting socially significant projects and initiatives in the sphere of using artificial intelligence, and will ensure coordination between the business community, research and educational organizations, government authorities in the joint implementation of projects in the sphere of artificial intelligence.

In addition, similar agreements with the administration of the Tambov region and the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Yugra were signed at the forum.

ANO "Laboratory of Digital Transformation" is a young organization. It started to work in June 2021. Its goal is to support projects in the sphere of artificial intelligence that are significant for society in such key areas as the economy, social sphere and ecology.

In addition to the signing of the agreement, the business program of the forum and exhibition INFOTECH-2021 hosted a panel discussion of ANO Laboratory of Digital Transformation “Models of Interregional Interaction through the Exchange of Cross-Industry Data”. The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ANO Digital Transformation Laboratory Andrey Belyaninov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Oleg Kachanov, as well as top officials of federal authorities, representatives of large Russian business corporations attended the forum.
