The Annual Creative Contest “Eurasian Integration and Development - XXI century” Has Been Opened for Journalists

Since 2018, the Contest has established a special nomination of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly “Best Publication on Humanitarian Integration”.

Today, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) announced the start of accepting works for the Annual Creative Contest for media representatives “Eurasian Integration and Development - XXI century”.

The Contest is aimed at developing and strengthening cross-cultural and economic ties between the countries of the region, and is also intended to promote the dissemination of objective information about integration processes in the Eurasian space. Journalists from the EDB member States - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, as well as from the Republic of Moldova – are invited to participate in the Contest.

Journalistic works published in print (broadcast) from December 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 are accepted for consideration. A special Expert Council is to ensure the objectivity of the assessment. It comprises the Heads of the Unions of Journalists from all six EDB member countries.

Summing up the results of the Contest and Awarding Ceremony will traditionally take place in Moscow in autumn as part of the Annual International Conference “Eurasian Economic Integration”.

The winners of the Contest will be awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.

Contest nominations: “Best Thematic Reports of News Agency”; “Best Internet Publication” “Best Publication in Print Media”; “Best TV Story”, “Best Radio Story”, a special nomination of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, established in 2018,”Best Publication on Humanitarian Integration”.

For the first time, a special nomination of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) “Best Publication on Business in the EEU” was established within the Contest.
