Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrey Belianinov handed over a collection of posters of the International Art Project ‘Angels of Peace’ to Georgy Muradov, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation, Head of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples’ in the Republic of Crimea.
The Assembly sees the initiative of passing the images of angels as an action of spreading light images to promote the values of faith, hope, love and gratitude. The posters are given to hospitals, children's institutions, rehabilitation centers, wherever there is a special need to create an atmosphere of warmth and care.
Georgy Muradov thanked Andrei Belianinov and noted the high social significance of the project.
The posters donated to the Republic of Crimea will be placed for public in Crimean cultural and educational institutions, and then given to children's medical institutions in Crimea.
The project “Angels of Peace” supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ has been implemented for 10 years and unites artists from 26 countries: international exhibitions, art objects, contests, festivals, and creative program are held. During this time 366 paintings on the theme ‘Guardian Angel’ have been collected. From them it is planned to collect a unique art object - a single calendar-picture 92 metres long and 4 metres high.
